LS "Ledge Sided" Trailers

The "Ledge Sided" models are so called because of their design characteristics which feature a full length ledge, rather like a long mudguard, which extends beyond the sides of the body. This feature gives a trailer of unusual capabilities, as apart from the normal sided body a further load area exists on the surface of the ledges. This can be utilized when carrying loads such as bales of hay, wide flat items like fence panels or sheet products (plywood), and can also be used as a seat for carrying personnel, however we do recommend a back rail when being used for carrying persons for safety reasons.

These trailers are very strong, featuring their own chassis frame to which the body is attached, and are available in painted or galvanised finish. Many build options can be specified, as well as being offered for highway or off-highway use.

Ideal for use with Quad Bikes, either behind or for carrying the quad when towed behind a car, truck or 4x4.

Amongst the options available are, dual height hitch (allowing attachment to vehicles with different hitch heights); galvanised or paint finish; highway or off-road; extension sides; jockey wheel; load stands; loading ramps or tailboard; fixed lights or removable light board; and many more to suit individual needs (just ask us !!)

One of our customers uses his trailer to carry his quad, transport residents from his hotel along the beach behind the quad, and then use the trailer as a platform for a beach barbeque !!!

These trailers are available in a range of sizes with single or tandem axles, solid axle or rubber suspension, and a range of body options.

Suitable for farmers, estates, shoots & gamekeepers, amenity contractors, zoos, parks and many other applications. Easily adapted for use as personnel carriers, they can be supplied with covers, seat cushions security boxes etc. etc.
