THE "NIMBUS 24" PTO DRIVEN - MOUNTED LEAF BLOWER
The NIMBUS 24 is a PTO driven mounted leaf blower. It is suitable for mounting behind compact tractors of 20 HP and above, fitted with a category one - 3 point hydraulic linkage. The heart of the machine is a PTO driven, 610 mm diameter, 8 bladed rotor which delivers over 4000 cu ft/min of airflow at speeds in excess of 150 mph. This is excellent for moving fallen leaves and other debris, and will work well even when leaves are wet and heavy. The whole machine runs on two wide section, smooth-tyre castor wheels and also features a clever diverter system that changes the direction of airflow from left to right, from the tractor seat. This allows continuous back and forth working in either direction to clear areas of fallen leaves and other debris more quickly. To the rear of the machine is fitted an anti-scalping roller, which avoids the bottom of the fan housing from grazing the turf when travelling over bumps.
This is a high output machine which can, in a few hours, effortlessly clear an area that would take a man with a hand held unit several hard days.
